"It's a small world after all....."

I have had some really bizarre events happen to me lately (ask me about the plumber who hit on me last week) but this one is rather amusing. I just got a call from Liberty Mutual, my insurance company. The guy told me he was my new agent and wanted to ask me a few questions and confirm some stuff. Turns out that because I'm a UGA graduate, I now get a nice 10% discount on my insurance, which kicks ass.

That wasn't the odd thing, though. I said, "What was your name again?" and when he told me, I said, "I thought I recognized that name. Did I go to high school with you?" He sounded surprised and said, "Did you go to Gainesville High?" and when I said yes, he said, "I guess you did, then." He's the same age I am, so I was in his class. I never said four words to him in the four years I was there, but still, it amused me to hear that.

It is a small world, after all.
