1. What facial feature do you find the most attractive on others?
I take the face as a whole, I don't single out any particular feature. I am a sucker for pretty eyes, though.

2. Would you vote for a woman candidate for president?
Yes, assuming I agreed with her ideals and political leanings.

3. Would you marry for money? How much?
Never.

4. Have you had braces?
Yes, and a retainer. Many years ago.

5. Do you pluck your eyebrows?
No.

6. Do you ever cut or hurt yourself? On purpose?
No. I am a total wuss about pain and don't have a need to damage myself intentionally.

9. Do you use ICQ, AOL Buddy list etc.?
I use Trillian to keep up with ICQ, AIM and Yahoo! Messenger.

10. If so, how many people are on your list(s)?
40, although about 50% of those are ancient contacts that aren't used anymore. I need to clear the list. Of the ones that are left, I talk to maybe five people regularly.

11. If you could live in any past time period, which would it be?
The Middle Ages.

13. Do you wear shoes in the house or take them off?
I take them off unless it's cold.

14. What is your favorite fruit?
Peaches or Granny Smith apples.

15. Do you eat wheat bread or white?
I'll eat either but I prefer white.

17. What is the last movie you saw?
In the theater? The American release of Hero.

18. Do you kiss on the first date?
If I can get up the balls to do it, yes.

19. Are you photogenic?
I don't like being photographed but I think I tend to photograph well. Figure that one out if you can.

20. Do you dream in color or black and white?
I can vividly remember dreams' subject matter but not whether they were color or B/W.

21. Are you wearing fingernail polish?
I don't have any fingernails to polish, even if I went for that sort of thing.

22. Do you have any dimples?
Yes.

23. Do you remember being born?
No.

24. Why do you take surveys?
Because of a desperate urge to prove that I am in fact a beautiful and unique snowflake.

25. Do you drink alcohol?
Rarely, because I am cursed with an extraordinarily high tolerance (i.e., it's fucking expensive).

26. Did you like or do you like high school?
I liked it considerably more than elementary school and grade school. Still wasn't very happy, though.

27. What is the most beautiful language?
Despite the fact that I love to bag on their country, I find French to be a lovely and musical language. I also think Italian is very lyrical and liquid (probably from listening to lots of opera). Of course, I can't speak a word of either....

28. When you are asleep do you like being kissed awake?
I expect I would, if it had ever happened.

29. Do you like sunrises or sunsets the most?
Sunsets, since I'm rarely awake for sunrises.

30. Do you want to live to be 100?
Not unless science finds a way to rejuvenate people before then.

31. Do you think women should be expected to shave their body hair?
Expected? Hell, no. Do I like a woman who shaves, though? Yes, of course. Yes, I'm a male chauvinist pig.

32. Do you like salty food or sugary food the most?
Sugary.

33. Is a flat stomach important to you?
Not to me personally, though I do find it attractive in others. (There's that double standard again).

34. Do you or have you played with a Ouija board?
No.

35. Are you loyal?
To the death, for friends I trust.

36. Are you tolerant of other people's beliefs?
Voltaire: "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

37. When you watch movies at home, do you like the lights on or off?
Off. My RPTV has been calibrated for full darkness for the most accurate picture. I have light-damping drapes over my living room windows to ensure full dark during the daytime.

38. Do you believe in magic?
I believe "there are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio / Than are dreamt of in your philosophy". Magic? Some kinds of it, yes.

39. Do you have nightmares frequently?
More often than I would like to admit.

40. Do you like your nose?
Sure.

41. Do you like abstract art?
Not remotely. A blue canvas with a black spot on it is not art, as far as I'm concerned.

42. Do you think you can draw well?
I can't even draw *stick figures* well. I used to be a fair hand with computer art but the tools have changed so much in recent years that I'm out of practice.

43. Do you listen to music daily?
Yes. Plainly put, I would die without music.

44. Do you like to watch cartoons?
Hell, yes.

45. At what age did you find out that Santa Claus wasn't real?
You mean he's not? Every year I find stuff under the tree that *I* didn't put there.

46. How many pairs of shoes do have in your closet?
One -- a pair of dress shoes.

47. Do you like to wear the same shoes everyday or do you like a variety?
I have one pair of sneakers for daily wear and one pair of dress shoes for dress-up. That's it.

48. Do you write poetry?
When the mood takes me.

49. Do you snore?
Unfortunately, yes. Quite loudly, I'm told.

50. Do you sleep more on your back, front, or sides?
On my sides.

51. Would you rather have a poodle or a rottweiler?
Seeing as how I find them both incredibly annoying, the answer is "Neither".

52. Do you lick stamps?
Not since they started offering pre-sticky ones.

53. Do you use an electric can opener?
No.

54. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon?
No, but I'd like to.

55. Which hurts the most, physical or emotional pain?
Emotional, although I'm a wimp about physical pain as well.

56. Do you think balding men should shave their heads?
Not unless they want to, but I plan to when I start going bald myself.

57. Do you know anyone who is clinically depressed?
Several people.

58. Do you prefer a piano or a violin?
Depends on the music being played. Overall, probably a piano.

59. Are you a sex addict?
I like it a lot but I'm not addicted to it.

60. Do you know someone who has cancer?
I knew several someones who had cancer. R.I.P.

61. Do you hunt?
Only insofar as to track down stuff at the supermarket.

62. Do you like fast food joints, or expensive restaurants?
Either one, depending on what I'm in the mood for. I admit I am far more comfortable in laid-back dining environments, though.

64. Do you have a middle name?
Russell.

65. Are you basically a happy person?
I am a lot better than I used to be in my early days of college, but I'm still a long way from happy.

66. Are you tired?
Not at the moment.

67. Did you drink anything with caffeine in it today?
Several glassfuls of Coke.

68. Have you ever met anyone off the internet?
A couple dozen people, I expect.

69. How many phones do you have in your house?
Two.

70. How long is your hair?
Slightly below the middle of my back.

71. Do you get along with your parents?
I have the utmost respect, love, and admiration for my parents, and it's reciprocated. Yes.

72. What color of eyes do you prefer?
I have a weakness for green eyes.

73. Are you an active person?
I am rather passive for the most part. Certain subjects I am very passionate about, sometimes violently so.

75. What does your bedroom look like?
Four walls; a queen-size bed; a clothes dresser with TV and VCR on top of it (both rarely used); an end table with lamp, phone and alarm clock; a landscape painting; and two windows.
