As practically everyone else on my friends list apparently seems to know already, Dragon*Con will be starting up this evening. The con officially runs from Friday through Monday, but some people get an early jump and arrive tonight. Hell, Warren Ellis is already in Atlanta.
Anyway. If you're going to be at the con, please please PLEASE come see me and the rest of The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company in our two performances.
On Friday night, we will be handling Opening Ceremonies for the convention, starting at 7:30 in the Centennial Ballroom (Hyatt). After Opening Ceremonies (which will include a rendition of
vill's new "Cautionary Tales for Grownups" series), we will swing right into our feature presentation for the evening, our adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". Yours truly will be playing the lead in this piece, alongside special guests Harlan Ellison (writer of lots of stuff) and Michael Brady (anime voice actor). We've worked very hard on this performance and I think you'll be blown away.
On Sunday night, we will be performing at approximately 10 PM (the con is being cagey about the exact start time) in the Regency Ballroom (again, in the Hyatt). This evening we will be featuring a brand new episode of Ron N. Butler's "Rory Rammer, Space Marshal": "The Slaves of the Zombie-Tron", followed by our main event, our adaptation of Robert A. Heinlein's "The Menace From Earth" (with special guest Jewel Staite from the TV show "Firefly"). Again, we've worked very hard on these performances and would love to see you in the audience.
If you don't catch me at one of these two performances, you can probably find me at one of the Tolkien track events, or one of the Star Wars track events, or at one of Warren Ellis's panels, or at the Cruxshadows concert. Otherwise I'm just going to be wandering about as usual.
Hope to see you there!

Currently playing: Geddy Lee -- My Favorite Headache. Geddy's solo disc is kind of experimental industrial funk. Weird combination.
