vill's quest for employment in the Atlanta area, here's the official announcement: she has been offered and accepted a position with Nordstrom Spa in Atlanta, will be turning in her two weeks' notice at the Grove Park Inn today, and will be moving to Atlanta as soon as the two weeks are up.
Many thanks to everybody who sent good wishes. If you want to leave congratulatory comments (and I'm sure that many of you will since our friends' lists overlap so much), post them here and I'll pass them on to her when she arrives at my place tonight. (She's coming down tonight for training classes tomorrow and Wednesday).
Congratulations, sweetie. I knew you could do it.
[edit: I forgot to mention that they took their sweet time about it. They made the call just as she was about to walk out the door to head to work today. Any later and she wouldn't have been able to take the job for another month.]
