Geek alert! This guy has done one of the coolest things ever. He's turned his Honda Civic Del Sol into an A-Wing starfighter from the Star Wars films. :)

The guy's homepage has been slammed at the moment, because somebody posted it on Fark.com and he got 60GB of traffic in one day. Never underestimate the power of TEH INTARWEB.

Anyway, go read the thread, and marvel at how cool this guy is. I want a car like that.

p.s. Yes, I know that A-Wings don't have R2 astromech droids. So does the guy who made it. It's a hybrid, okay?

actually, surprised he hasn't yet been stopped for being a terrorist, what with the guns on the side of the car.....i'd doubt the cops would have a clue what the theme of the vehicle was....

This is the car for the kid (now grown up) whose parents painted their van to look like a shuttlecraft... :)
