Road tripping

datalopez and I are currently planning our spring break vacation trip. My parents have invited us on an RV trip to the American Southwest, so we're currently making lists of the places we want to go and the things we want to see -- the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Carlsbad Caverns, and so on. We're going to see just how many places we can cram into eight days' worth of traveling in mid-March. Looking forward to it!

I need to do my taxes soon. Not looking forward to THAT. I may pay somebody to do them for me this year, since I had to deal with relocating to a different state. Somebody also told me that I can claim my moving expenses as a deduction, as well as the various things I had to purchase to make my working-from-home viable. Not sure if it's worth trying to itemize deductions or if I'm wasting my time.

I had a curious dream last night. I was an old-time private detective (think Philip Marlowe or Sam Spade) whose partner was a DRAGON. Seeing a fifty-foot dragon crammed behind an office desk with a fedora on its head is....a weird experience.

Today's shared file is a compilation of screams. If you are not familiar with the Wilhelm Scream, well, you will be after seeing this. The Wilhelm is a very distinctive scream which has appeared in a lot of movies, and many of them are shown in this three-minute compilation. File is 48MB in size, runs for three minutes, playable using Windows Media Player or Quicktime Movie Player.
