Seven songs memeage
Jul. 6th, 2006 12:26 amLife proceeds apace. Stuff coming up that I'm really giddy and excited about, but that's not for another week or so. Meantime, things are going fairly well. No more Livejournal access at work, though, which means many fewer entries from me. I'm sure your disappointment is positively crushing.
Anyhow.....meme time.
No, this isn't like Steve Vai's "seventh songs" concept. (Vai released, at one point, an album that was a compilation of the seventh song from each of his previous albums. The seventh songs tend to be more spiritual, personal, intense, whatever, on his albums).

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
Let's see. In no particular order:
1. Seeed -- "Ding" (German reggae-ish techno-funk-rap. Great stuff).
2. Poets of the Fall -- "Lift" (Finnish rock band, fantastically addictive).
3. DragonForce -- "My Spirit Will Go On" (Melt-your-face-speed epic melodic metal, hugely fun).
4. Peter Gabriel -- "Solsbury Hill" (Always near the top of the list).
5. Paul Oakenfold -- "Dark Machine" (feat. Christopher Young) (From the Swordfish soundtrack, one of the best electronic tunes I've ever heard).
6. Moby -- "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters" (Another tune from a film, this one from Michael Mann's Heat. Very addictive).
7. OSI -- "Horseshoes and B-52s" (From the debut album; fantastic prog metal).
Nah, I won't tag anyone. If you feel like chiming in, put up your own seven in your own journal or leave 'em here in the comments.
