Ah, how I love Mondays. Er....NOT.
Apr. 19th, 2004 09:41 amFair warning to all my friends: I may be a bit short-tempered over the next couple of days. I am irritable because:
1. I am far too out of shape for my liking. I start on the South Beach diet this morning and I am also beginning an exercise program. I am disgusted with myself for letting myself get this out of shape; this morning I struggled to do forty pushups and thirty situps. HATE HATE HATE SELF.
2. I am trying once again to quit biting my nails. This always makes me irritable because it's one of the stress relievers I have.
3. My home computer has finally gotten to the point (after almost two and a half years of operation) where the OS is so cluttered and crosslinked that it crashes every time I turn around. So I get to spend tonight backing important stuff up, then FDISKing, formatting the drive, and starting from scratch with a new OS (Windows 2000 this time around). No comments from the Linux fanatics in the audience, please; I need an OS that will let me use the computer for gaming as well as working stuff.
So. Fair warning has been given. Do not poke the porcupine. And if I snap at you (although I will try not to), it's nothing personal.

Currently playing: Liquid Tension Experiment -- Liquid Tension Experiment 2. Levin/Petrucci/Portnoy/Rudess. What a great combination.
